(click to enlarge)		open mic @ luna's - went with Alicia to the poetry open mic night at Luna's Cafe here in Sacramento. Her friend Ruebi was the featured poet and was selling her beautiful handmade books.
		1 Luna's Cafe is a nice little juice bar and cafe on 16th St. You can see they have a lot of interesting art all over the place.
		2 There is Ruebi, the main event of the night.
		3 Haven't you always wanted your picture taken with a disco ball?
		4 A slightly fuzzy picture of the beautiful, one of a kind, handmade books of poetry being sold by Ruebi.

		7 It almost feels a little Tiki-ish.
		8 We had people swarming around our table, all wanting a moment with Ruebi. Felt a little claustrophobic.
		9 Ruebi and her friend playing the dulcimer. Very nice.
		10 Ruebi had quite the stage presence, a change from some of the poets before her on open mic night. She's a performance artist too. You could tell.
		11 She's also up for a Sammie for folk artist, so if you're in Sacramento, vote for her.
