trip to SF - Alicia and I went to SF to visit the SFMOMA with my mom, hit a few stores and just general enjoy the nice, sunny day in the city by the bay. |
 | |
1 It's February 1st and the flowers are blooming. The art is blossoming. And the hills are alive with the sound of music. Wait, that's not right. |
 | |
2 Robbie the Robot on display inside the Sony Metreon center near the SFMOMA. |
 | |
3 A quick shot of Alicia with the SFMOMA in the background. For architecture fans, the SFMOMA was designed by Mario Botta. |
 | |
4 My mother standing on the balcony with us unknowingly the object of my camera lense. |
 | |
5 I had to get into the act with my own balcony shot, but from down on the ground several stories below me. No, wait, I'm just tall. |
 | |
6 An "arty" shot taken while Alicia was perusing the merhandise at Crossroads. I call it "dresses on the wall." |
 | |
7 I continue to be the arty photographer, taking pictures of Alicia shopping for clothes. |
 | |
8 I stopped short of following her into the dressing room. That's a different kind of "art" and better left for another time. |
 | |
9 It turned out to be a really nice, sunny day. A little bit of a breeze, but otherwise it was gorgeous. This is why I love California. |
 | |
10 Alicia was looking for something in her purse, I don't remember what. This was right after I got a ticket for not curbing my wheels on a hill of more than 3% grade. Only in California! |
 | |
11 Did I mention she's cute? |
 | |
12 Now, before you point at me and call me a pervert, I took this shot because I really liked the colors & fabric of her shirt, not because I wanted to take a chest shot. |
 | |
13 California is prone to earthquakes. This is what happens to perfectly good houses in an earthquake, they fall over like dominos. |
 | |
14 Everyone needs a Moppe. IKEA was dangerous today, filled to capacity with consumers. Ack, I'm getting claustraphobic! |
 | |
15 Cart action. Oooh baby, look at those stainless steel bars!! |
 | |
16 I just had to include this photo because when are you ever gonna see anything like this again? |
