down the delta - a sunny day's adventures, first in the park for lunch then a drive down the Sacramento river delta.

Alicia had her first book club meeting this weekend and she was trying to catch up on some reading in the park. Catching some sun as well.
This was just before the supernova ate us all.
GrassMan. Half grass, half weed. Hippies love him. The government is out to get him.
Just look up! You'll never know what you'll see.
We drove down the levees to a town called Isleton. It's a sleepy town that time seem to have forgotten.
Not much was open. Apparently during the annual crawdad festival this town fills with people, well, we'll have to come back to see & believe that.
Another photo for the project
Do you have your cacti wired for electricity? For the internet?
Loose wire. Loose cannon. Loose lips sink ships. Or is that loose cannons?
Rust. The new black.
It all happens at #33. Everything!
She knows what happens at #33, do you?
Won't you buy me that doggie in the window...
Much more rust.
Lights in Space!
Trees & Seeds, the perfect combination.
Where are we again? No Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore.
Mark your calendars.
The Master Baiter. This place was packed when we were there. Drive your truck & boat trailer right up to the door.
Alicia's dinner. So raw I swear it moved.
Now if going to the park, driving down the delta, and having sushi for dinner wasn't enough, we went to some of the open galleries as this was 2nd Saturday. There was this one gallery that shared warehouses with a fruit packing company. Cool.
