(click to enlarge)		off to Santa Cruz - Alicia and I headed off for a long weekend in the Santa Cruz area. We spent an afternoon at the windy & chilly beach and then went with friends to a poetry reading in town.
		1 It was a very windy day at the beach. A storm was coming. I like the way the sky looks just before a storm.
		2 A pirate ride. Cool, but certainly no Pirates of the Caribbean.
		3 Clowns can be scary. Don't stand under that squatting clown!
		4 All those empty planes waiting for pilots... sad, real sad.
		5 Sorry... Area Closed. Down for repairs. Sweeping out the closet. Spring cleaning.
		6 Lamppost and loudspeaker. Could be a cool name for a law firm.
		7 There's Alicia getting the instructions on how to get to her friends' place.
		8 Kind of looks like the suckers on an octopus, doesn't it?
		9 Is that "PI" for Pirates or Private Investigator? Like in Magnum PI.
		10 Oh lovely maiden, protect ye sailors as they head out to the stormy sea...
		11 They had all sorts of photo booths and we got our picture taken in a black & white booth.
		12 There's Alicia waiting for the photos to develop.
		13 Alicia in the red light district of Santa Cruz. No, that's just her after the poetry reading we went to.
