sun & hay fever - On day 2 of our SLO trip, we hiked back into Poly Canyon to see the architecture projects. I guess everything was a little too "fresh" and both Blake & Danielle had their allergies act up. My camera's battery also ran out.

Danielle took this photo... the shadow of me drinking my morning Slurpee against a painting on the wall of the bagle shop. (photo by Danielle)
The world famous Bubblegum Alley. Gross, yes. Highly photographed, you bet.
Alicia took on the photo challenge with much relish. Or wait, was that a lot of relish on her bubblegum?
Cal Poly is a "hands on" school. For the architecture majors (I was one, so was Wierd Al) this led to Poly Canyon, an area where various buildings & structures have been built over the years to test ideas, building styles and construction techniques.
The last picture taken before my camera's battery died. Too much zoom.
Danielle took Alicia's picture standing in this collection of flowers. I am drawing a blank of the name... Lavender? It's the same as the purply ones we saw too. You'd think I'd remember it, I took botany in college. Amy, want to help me out? You paid attention in that class, didn't you? (photo by Danielle)
There I am reading the Mustang Daily. It's the only completely student-run daily in the US (I was told). It's written, designed AND printed all by students. It's pretty good. I think I was mentioned in 2 or 3 articles in my years at Poly. (photo by Danielle)
A nice portrait of us on the hill, thanks Danielle! All that green grass reminded Alicia and I of the movie Toys. (photo by Danielle)
