(click to enlarge)		disney - day two - Danielle, Louis, Blake and Jaime arrived Friday night in time to hit California Adventure on Saturday.
		1 IHOP Blake. While sitting around at breakfast, we came up with the idea for the camera to go around the table to have each one of us take a picture of whomever was directly aross from us.
		2 IHOP Jamie. We owe a big thanks to Jamie and his grandfather's girlfriend who got us the free park-hopping tickets for this, my birthday blow-out spectacular!
		3 Meet IHOP Alicia. She's just plain tired after walking and walking and walking. This was the 2nd of 3 amusement parks she went to in the span of one week.
		4 IHOP Danielle. Yes, that's my long-time friend Danielle. We met in our first architecture class in college. That was what, ages ago?
		5 IHOP Louis. He might not say a whole lot, but he sure knows his way behind a pole.
		6 IHOP Matte. The birthday boy. The birthday breakfast.
		7 This was Blake's first visit to DisneyLand. I seem to be there for a lot of Blake's firsts... um... no, not for that one.
		8 A larger than life postcard for Alicia to send to her family in PA.
		9 Blake likes music. Blake likes stopping for music...
		10 Blake likes to get down and bugey!
		11 The Disney Touch: At DisneyLand, they turn a jet engine into a mister to keep people cool. At other theme parks, they just use the jet engine regardless of what it does to park visitors.
		12 When the doors are open, it leaves the message printed on them open to broad interpretation.
		13 With California Adventure, Disney has gone upscale. This is part of an actual winery they have onsite. And yes, you can buy alcohol. (photo by Danielle)
		14 The walls of the animation area were giant monitors where they did musical numbers with outtakes from the various movies. It was really well done.
		15 Which Disney character are you?
		16 Jamie (the blurry one), Danielle and Louis all trying to determine who they would be as a Disney character.
		17 They have this huge ferris wheel which has cars that slide on tracks, adding an extra dimension to the ride. These brave souls opted for the non-moving cars. Ah, nerves of steel.
		18 Blake giving his usual caution-to-the-wind brave face and gets ready for the ferris wheel.
		19 Disney has a coaster that shoots you out of the starting block and up the hill. Quick start to a pretty decent coaster.
		20 When the coaster gets moving, it really gets moving.
		21 Is it a bear or a wolf? Or is that Jerry Springer?!?
		22 No, you're not seeing double. You're seeing Matte in Muppet Vision 3D. Or in front of.
		23 I never thought Kermit was that big... Must take a mighty big hand to stick up his... woops, this is a family photolog!
		24 Just like the theather on the Muppet Show...
		25 She's so excited and she just can't hide it... Did I tell you that one of the things that attracted Alicia to me was my collection of Muppet Shows on DVD?
		26 I think this was the best part of a wonderful day. Even though it was embarassing me no end, my friends were trying to sing to me "Happy Birthday" every hour. Well, it wasn't on the hour, but on the monorail they started singing to me (and this other girl in there with us). Aren't these people wonderful!?
		27 After taking a breather after California Adventure, we freshened up and headed back for dinner and the rest of the evening at DisneyLand.
		28 Alicia saw these glow-in-the-dark mouse ears and had to have them. So I got them for her, as she looks mighty cute in them. (And so I could find her in the dark).
		29 As we waited for Blake and Danielle to come back from getting ice cream, I took snapshots of the traffic along main street. Not many SUVs on this street.
		30 Caught the ghosts from the Haunted Mansion leaving work early...
		31 I knew I left my left somewhere. My heart's still back in San Francisco (along with my Star Wars action figures and souvenir cup collection).
		32 When they get ice cream, they GET ice cream.
		33 There's talk that at DisneyWorld they use to put blue dye in the water to make the water seem bluer. Well, it seems at DisneyLand they make things greener.
