sun gone down in vegas - late night in a city with no last call

The view of the Venetian from my hotel room. I got the "back side" of the strip. Hmmm... Good name for a tell-all book on Vegas?
I stayed at the Bourbon Street Hotel & Casino because it was cheap. Yes, it was cheap. Real cheap. But it was just a block from the Bellagio where my friends were staying, so not bad.
Just an Italian restaurant next to my hotel. There were no windows in this restaurant. Should I be worried?
There were some beautiful sunsets while I was there. It was all of the clouds in the air. Had some freak thunder, lightning and rain as well.
Well, I guess if I had really been to Venice, I would remember then name of this tower... but alas, this was just Vegas, and this tower is just an advertisement for gambling, so do you blame me?
I got this one by mugging the postcard photographer I saw walking by.
This photo is here mainly to provide Alicia with the chance to see what I was seeing when I talked to her on the phone. Bet you didn't think this is what I had to look at. Boring, huh?
So, the first oddity is that they have art museums on The Strip. The second oddity is that 2 of those museums were running shows about Pop Art, which many people wouldn't really consider serious art.
That's Becky, Jermaine, Joyce and George. All but one are fuzzy. But I decided I liked the expression on Joyce's face too much to leave this one out.
Here's Joyce glammin' it up on the velvet couch at the Bellagio cafe.
This is actually a picture from 1974 of me as a baby... no wait, that's a recent photo, just think it looks aged... but that's actually what the inside of George's arm looks like. He decided to swing his arm down just as I was taking this shot.
Unsatisfied with what was on the menu, throwing the menu down in disgust.
Our drinks are larger than all the other casinos'. They are bigger than a baby.
